A walk through Liverpool's music, from the old dockside folk songs right up to Merseybeat. We start in the heart of the city and finish down by the River Mersey, and I bring the songs and the people behind them to life in verse along the way.

A few questions before you book

How long is a tour?

Most of my tours run for about 2.5 hours, which honestly is the sweet spot. It's long enough to properly get into the stories and see bits of the city most people walk straight past, but it never drags.

Are your tours accessible?

I'll always do my best to make things work for you. Private tours can be adapted with a shorter route or an easier pace, so just get in touch before you book and tell me what you need and we'll sort it together.

Are there comfort breaks?

Yes! We do cover a fair bit of ground and there are some steps along the way, but I always build comfort breaks in, so you won't be left wondering.

Can children come on the tour?

Absolutely, kids are more than welcome and the stories tend to go down well with all ages. Just know there's some walking and a few steps involved, so it helps if your little ones are happy on their feet.

I've lived in Liverpool my whole life, will I actually learn anything?

Honestly, this is the question I get asked most and the answer is almost always yes. Loads of lifelong Scousers come along thinking they know it all and leave surprised by how much they didn't, check out the reviews on Trustpilot if you don't believe me.

Can I bring my dog?

Sorry to the dog lovers out there but my tours are dog free for now, some guests get a bit nervous around dogs and I want everyone to feel comfortable. Everyone else though, come along.
